Giz was in transmontan lands to train an association that aims to protect the donkey breed, in particular the Miranda donkey. This is AEPGA – Association for the Study and Protection of the Asinine Cattle, which is based in the village of Atenor, Miranda do Douro. It was a fantastic experience: in addition to promoting a 24-hour course on Design and Graphic Communication, in which we taught Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, we could also interact with volunteers fighting for a worthy cause. In fact, the very attitude of creating autonomous mechanisms, with the members of the association taking care of their own communication, is a clear sign of the very special philosophy that this association has implicit.
