With more than 30 years of existence, the Erasmus Program wants to change paradigms and encourage institutions to look to the future in a consistent and long-term way, and it was in this sense that the European Commission launched the Erasmus Accreditation that marked the beginning of the new Erasmus 2021-2027 Program.
ETIC_Algarve saw its application for ERASMUS ACCREDITATION 2021-2027 approved and thus got the possibility to continue the work developed since 2015, which has already allowed the European mobility for professional internships for about 70 trainees and mobility to reference schools in the creative industries to about 30 trainers and technical-pedagogical team.
Based on the experience gained and the network of European partner companies and schools that it has established in more than 15 European countries, and that has already earned this school an Erasmus+ Good Practice Award in 2018 for the good execution and implementation of projects, ETIC_Algarve presented an Erasmus Plan based on the 4 basic principles of Erasmus quality:
“Being an accredited institution means being part of a larger project, of an idea that aims at the development and improvement of the education and training system in Europe in a permanent and continuous way. Accredited institutions are recognized by their partners for the quality of their activities, for the added value they can bring to the program, thus creating the basis for the establishment of longer and more lasting partnerships”,according to the Erasmus+ Education and Training National Agency.
Following the pioneering spirit that drives ETIC_Algarve through “learning by doing”, with the European Mobilities to be developed through this ERASMUS 2021-2027 Accreditation, the participants will have the opportunity to improve skills, contact with new working methods, and acquire new skills (socio-cultural) that will allow personal and professional growth, thus contributing to the strengthening of human resources in the region, in the creative industries.
